Newly Built Council Homes On The Park View Estate N5.

31 newly built homes, open plan kitchen/living/dining rooms, bathroom with WC, sink and bath with shower over.

  • 8 x 1 bed - 2 person
  • 3 x 2 bed wheelchair accessible 
  • 2 x 2 bed - 3 person
  • 18 x 2 bed - 4 person

As set out in the council’s Local Lettings policy, tenants who live on the Park View estate will be prioritised for these new council homes we built in their area.

All applicants must have a LIVE housing application with at least 120 points.

Wheelchair accessible and ground floor properties:

Priority will be given first to applicants with an assessed need for wheelchair accessible and ground floor and ground floor need in priority as below.

The overall priority order for the new homes will therefore be as described below: 

  • First priority - will apply to current social tenants living on the Park ViewEstate
  • Second priority – for current social tenants who live in the Mildmay ward.
  • Third priority – tenants living elsewhere within Islington.

Residents who meet these criteria may be shortlisted from the list of bidders first.

Newly Built Council homes on the Dixon Clark Estate N1 2WE. Bidding Closed

27 newly built homes, apart from flat 69 most are Open Plan (living/kitchen/diner all combined) ground floor with gardens.

  • 5 x 1 bed - 5 person
  • 1 x 2 bed - 3 person 
  • 14 x 2 bed - 4 person
  • 4 x 2 bed - 4 person Wheelchair Accessible
  • 2 x 3 bed - 5 person
  • 1 x 4 bed - 6 person

Phase 2 Andover Estate N7. Bidding Closed

36 newly built council properties are available to all Islington applicants eligible to bid on the home connections site. However, as for all new developments a local letting priority will be applied. 

Wheelchair accessible and ground floor properties priority will be given first to applicants with an assessed need for wheelchair accessible and ground floor property in priority order as below.

The priority order for the new homes will be: 

  • First priority – to social housing tenants who live on the Andover estate.  
  • Second priority – to family members who have been living with current social tenants on the Andover estate at least for the last 12 months.
  • Third priority – those social tenants living in Finsbury Park ward.
  • Fourth priority – those living elsewhere in Islington.

The properties are built to Lifetime homes standard. This is a car free development, and NO PARKING is available. Applicants may not be eligible for a residents parking permit from Islington Council.

Bidding has now closed and viewings are expected to take place shortly.

The City of London Corporation new homes on the former site of the Richard Cloudesley School, Golden Lane EC1Y 0TZ - COLPAI Development 33 New homes

These newly built City of London Corporation new homes are available to all Islington applicants eligible to bid on the home connections site. However, as for all new developments a local letting priority will be applied. 

The priority order for the new homes will be: 

Wheelchair accessible and ground floor properties: Priority will be given first to applicants with an assessed need for wheelchair accessible and ground floor property in priority order as below.

  • First priority – social housing tenants who live in the Bunhill ward with a 120 or more points.
  • Second priority – family members living with current social housing tenants in the Bunhill ward who have lived with the tenants for the last 12 months and has 120 or more points.
  • Third priority – those living elsewhere in Islington with a 120 or more points.

All the flats are open plan kitchen/living/dining rooms and 1 bathroom with a WC, sink and bath with shower over. Bidding has now closed and viewings are expected to take place shortly.

Weekly rent and service charge to be advised by City of London Corporation at the viewings. 

City of London Corporation have their own criteria for deciding how many people should live in a property.

Successful applicants will be subject City of London Corporation allocations policy and procedure.
